SE 21st Street Stormwater Improvements Project
The City of Fort Lauderdale and FG Construction are making improvements to the stormwater system along SE 21st Street between SE 21st Avenue and SE 24th Avenue in Harbour Inlet. This project includes:
- Lining a portion of an 18-inch diameter stormwater pipe to extend its longevity
- Restoring impacted asphalt and landscaping
Construction will begin on April 20, 2026, and is expected to be completed by Friday, May 8, 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic Impacts

The westbound lane of SE 21st Street within the project limits may be closed daily during work hours.

Traffic control personnel will direct traffic near the work area during work hours.
- Access to driveways will be maintained during construction.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
