Lane Reduction on Acadie Avenue and Closure of St-Laurent Street

Back to Search

The City of Dieppe wishes to inform motorists that Acadie Avenue, between Champlain and Olivier streets, will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Wednesday, September 24, to Friday, October 3. The left turn from Acadie Avenue onto Champlain Street will therefore be prohibited.

This lane reduction is necessary to carry out work on the water and sewer system, in connection with the reconstruction of St-Laurent Street. Please note that St-Laurent Street will be completely closed to traffic until all work is completed, which is expected for the end of November.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. Businesses will remain accessible during the construction.

Please allow extra travel time or consider an alternative route where possible. These traffic changes may also affect public transit. Riders are encouraged to check https://www.codiactranspo.ca before travelling.

The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents as we improve our infrastructure.
