The 2024 Impact Update captures a year of measurable progress and shared purpose for American Campus Communities. Across 170 student communities nationwide, ACC teams, residents and partners worked together to reduce environmental impact, advance student wellbeing and strengthen the sense of connection that defines campus life. Each initiative reflects ACC's ongoing commitment to creating places where students and communities can truly thrive.

2024 by the Numbers

• 15.6% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2022 - surpassing the company's 2025 target ahead of schedule.
• 50 developments LEED-certified or tracking certification, including 21 Gold or Platinum communities that set a new bar for sustainable design in student housing.
• 955,000 students reached through For the Greener Good, ACC's peer-to-peer sustainability education program that brings environmental action to life across social media and residence halls.
• 26 member organizations representing over 800,000students in the College Student Mental Wellness Advocacy Coalition, uniting housing providers across North America in support of mental health.
• 13,000+ volunteer hours and $60,000 in donationscontributed to local nonprofits through CoreGiving and YourCause, helping address food insecurity and other community needs.
