The two sides positively assessed the dynamic development of Georgia-China relations during Ambassador Zhou Qian's tenure, including the establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The discussion also focused on the tangible outcomes of the deepening political relationship, including the introduction of a mutual visa-free regime, the resumption and expansion of direct air connectivity, enhanced cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, the further development of opportunities arising from the Free Trade Agreement, and the conclusion of an agreement on the mutual recognition of higher education qualifications.

The parties also discussed the future agenda for Georgia-China cooperation, including strengthening ties between scientific and research institutions and advancing future cooperation in the technology sector. They underscored the importance of maintaining high-level political dialogue and further developing a results-oriented partnership.

The President of Georgia expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Zhou Qian for his diplomatic service in Georgia and wished him every success in his future professional endeavors.
