TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 52 CLOSED in Appleton City for Sewer Main Work Jan. 5-9

Where: Missouri Route 52 in locations within the city limits of Appleton City in St. Clair County

When: Monday-Friday, January 5-9

What: Contractor crews for town of Appleton City replacing sewer main

Traffic Impacts:

  • Missouri Route 52 CLOSED in locations within the city limits of Appleton City where crews are working
  • Working hours:
    • 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, January 5-6 & 8-9
    • 10 p.m., Tuesday, January 7 through 5 a.m., Wednesday, January 8
  • All lanes of Route 52 OPEN when crews are not working
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
