Downtown Modernization & Beautification Project – Public Open House

Public Open House - January 24

The City of West Chicago invites residents, business owners, and community members to attend a Public Open House for the Downtown Modernization & Beautification Project on Saturday, January 24, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at City Hall.

This open house will follow a shortened Coffee & Donuts with the Mayor, which will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

What to Expect

The open house will provide an opportunity to:

• Learn more about the Downtown Modernization & Beautification Project
• Review potential downtown design concepts informed by the community survey
• Share feedback and priorities to help guide future planning

The project is currently in the planning and design phase. Feedback at this stage will focus on design concepts and priorities, not final construction timing or budgets, which will be addressed in later phases.

Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in raffle prizes.
