Everyone Invited To The Free Ward 5 Community Night Out June 12
Join Las Vegas Ward 5 Councilwoman Shondra Summers-Armstrong And The Ward 5 Community For A Night Of Summer Fun
Everyone is invited to the free Ward 5 Community Night Out Friday, June 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Shaq Courts at the Doolittle Complex, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
There will be games, sports, double Dutch, crafts, a DJ and free popsicles provided by Anderson Dairy, while supplies last. There will also be food trucks with food for purchase, cotton candy, a DJ and more.
"As summer kicks into high gear I want to invite families to a fun night at the Doolittle Complex as we celebrate our community and enjoy our friends and families," Councilwoman Summers-Armstrong said. "It's important that Ward 5 takes some time away from the stress of the daily grind and enjoy life and our community."
Representatives from various community partners and the city of Las Vegas will have tables at the event with information and giveaways. The bulk of the events will take place under the shaded canopy near the Shaq Courts.
