Two Teen Shooting Suspects Charged For October Gunfire On Maple Timber Court

Two male teen shooting suspects have been charged and arrested following the October 2024 gunfire on Maple Timber Court that injured a 16-year-old.

A 17-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday at his Antioch home by TITANS Unit detectives. A 16-year-old suspect was taken into custody earlier this month and detectives were able to recover a rifle, body armor, ammo, gun parts and marijuana during the arrest.

The shooting investigation, led by Non-Lethal Shooting Unit detectives, showed the 16-year-old male victim was shot in the back in a drive-by shooting while he and others were sitting in a vehicle. The 16-year-old was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Both teens admitted during their interviews with detectives to being involved in multiple other shooting incidents in 2024. Each suspect was charged in Juvenile Court with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, juvenile handgun possession, reckless endangerment. Additional charges for the other shootings they confessed to participating in are pending.
