Lee Ann Womack joined last night's American Idol winner Hannah Harper for a performance of "I Hope You Dance" during the live finale.
Harper has become a viral breakout during her run on American Idol, winning over audiences with her timeless country sensibility and heartfelt performances. "From the first time I saw Hannah's videos, I was a fan," says Womack. "Her voice has that rare quality that just stopped me right in my tracks the first time I heard her sing one of my songs. Beyond her incredible talent, I've really been moved by her heart. It's been so exciting to watch America fall in love with her, and I was honored to be able to join her for the American Idol finale. This is just the beginning for Hannah Harper!"
Womack will also be joining Parker McCollum for a performance of their duet "Killin' Me" at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards this Sunday, May 17th at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, streaming exclusively on Prime video.
Stay tuned for more from Womack, including new music, which will be her first since her Grammy-nominated album The Lonely, The Lonesome & The Gone in 2017.
