MetrioPharm Announces Changes to its Board of Directors

- Dr. Stephan Rietiker and Dr. Harald Fricke have stepped down with immediate effect
- Jörg Gruber appointed as new Chairman of the Board of Directors
Zürich, September 4, 2025 - MetrioPharm AG, a pharmaceutical company developing drugs for inflammatory and infectious diseases, announced today that Dr. Stephan Rietiker and Dr. Harald Fricke have stepped down immediately as Chairman and member of the Board of Directors, respectively. Jörg Gruber, who has been advising MetrioPharm since 2009 and has been a member of MetrioPharm's Board of Directors since 2018, has been elected as Chairman of the Company´s Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors of MetrioPharm AG has unanimously accepted the resignations. The Company thanks Dr. Rietiker and Dr. Fricke for their commitment to MetrioPharm AG and wishes them well in their future endeavors.
