Media Reply to Queries on AsiaTimes Article

In response to queries about an article written by Mr Siddharath Bhowmick that was published in AsiaTimes on 19 Jan 2026, MINDEF would like to clarify that Mr Bhowmick had written and submitted the article in his personal capacity in December 2025, prior to his enlistment for National Service, at age 18, as a recruit in the SAF in January 2026.

The views expressed in the article are solely the personal views of Mr Bhowmick prior to his enlistment, and do not represent MINDEF or the SAF in any way.
