'Pet of the Week' - Penelope

To spread the word about animal adoption and to help these loving animals find fur-ever homes, the City of Lewisville will feature a Pet of the Week each week in this media packet, available for adoption at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 995 E. Valley Ridge.

This week's featured pet is Penelope, a 9-month-old Hound mix. She is a very playful girl who enjoys playing with other dogs. Being a puppy, she has a high activity level and is very inquisitive. Check out this video of Penelope beating the summer heat with some friends.

She is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized.
