On Friday, June 12, 2026, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's Central Precinct responded to reports of a shooting at Sellwood Riverfront Park in the 8000 block of Southeast Oaks Park Way. When they arrived, officers located an 18-year-old female who had been shot. She was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect(s) had fled the scene.
PPB's Enhanced Community Safety Team (ECST) responded to the park to initiate an investigation. They are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact PPB. The case number is 26-170120.
