Lincoln County: Road closure scheduled for pipe replacement


Lincolnton, Ga. - The Georgia Department of Transportation is scheduled to close US 378/State Route 43 to through traffic between State Route 43 Connector/Old Petersburg Road and State Route 220.

A pipe under US 378/SR 43, near Lincolnton Water Treatment, will be replaced. Georgia DOT maintenance forces are scheduled to close the road on Monday, June 22. Weather permitting, the closure is expected to last no longer than two weeks.

From SR 79 to South Carolina: US 378 to SR 43 Connector, SR 43 Connector to SR 47, SR 47 to SR 220, SR 220 to US 378

From South Carolina to SR 79: US 378 to SR 220, SR 220 to SR 47, SR 47 to SR 43 Connector, SR 43 Connector to US 378
