Yesterday, when pressed on his protection of dangerous predators in a sexually abusive cult, Andy Biggs claimed he "knew what was going on."

As Arizona Senate president, Biggs blocked bipartisan legislation that could have protected women and children who were trapped in a predatory cult that was "forcing girls into underage marriage" and "sexually abusing girls," as young as 12 years old. The Hobbs campaign, in conjunction with the Navajo County Democratic Committee, released a new mini-documentary-style video outlining the scandal yesterday.

This comes as Andy Biggs has faced backlash for an alarming record of protecting predators, like voting against "harsher penalties for engaging in child prostitution" and being just one of three state lawmakers to oppose legislation that would have "required registered sex offenders relocating to Arizona to re-register in the state." He also was one of only two Republicans on a House Oversight Subcommittee to vote against releasing the Epstein files.

"After hiding in the basement to avoid questions, Andy Biggs just shockingly admitted that he knew about the sexual abuse and forced child marriages in the cult of pedophiles he protected as Arizona Senate president, " said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. "Whether it's imprisoned cult leader Warren Jeffs, Jeffrey Epstein, or other registered sex offenders, Andy Biggs needs to explain why he's one of the country's greatest legislative champions for pedophiles."
