The President will participate in State Restoration Day events
On Monday, President Gitanas Nausėda, together with the people of Lithuania, will commemorate the 16th of February, the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania, by participating in events dedicated to mark this occasion. President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola will pay a visit to Lithuania on this occasion.
9.00 - The President will pay tribute to the signatories of the 16th of February Act of Independence at Rasos Cemetery.
10.00 - The President will present state awards in the White Hall of the Presidential Palace.
12.00 - The President will address the people of Lithuania during the flag-hoisting ceremony of the three Baltic States in Simonas Daukantas Square.
12.30 - The President will attend the Holy Mass at Vilnius Cathedral Basilica.
14.00 - The President will hold a meeting with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola at the Presidential Palace.
15.40 - Joint press conference by the President of Lithuania and the President of the European Parliament in the White Hall of the Presidential Palace.
19.00 - The President will attend a gala concert dedicated to the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society.
