As of January 22 at 3:30 p.m., the parking ban on permanent snow routes, including Priority 1 and Priority 2 roads, has been lifted.

The parking ban was put in place on Monday, December 8 at 11 a.m. to support snow clearing operations during periods of significant snow and ice accumulation. With all windrows now cleared from Priority 1 and Priority 2 routes, parking restrictions are no longer required on these roads.

Snow clearing operations continue across the city. In residential neighbourhoods, crews remain focused on clearing areas with double windrows, removing cul-de-sac snow piles and continuing lane clearing. Crews also continue sanding priority roads to address icy conditions.

Residents and visitors are thanked for their cooperation and compliance with parking bans. Current parking ban status is available at cityofgp.com/parkingbans.
