Today, Congressman Bob Latta (OH-5) joined U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy at Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake as part of the Freedom Means Affordable Cars Tour to highlight the Trump Administration's efforts to lower car prices for American families, strengthen American auto manufacturing, and expand consumer choice. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer were also in attendance.
"For far too long, prices and the cost of living have risen as a result of the Biden administration's failed policies. It's time to put America first and grow our economy. The vehicles Americans drive play a key role in a robust and secure future. I look forward to continuing to work with the administration to advance policies that will lower vehicle prices, unleash American auto manufacturing, and expand consumer choice. It's great to have administration officials in Ohio today to discuss how these policies will translate into lower prices and more choices for American drivers," said Latta.
