USGBC Conversion Calculator Facilitates International Trade By Translating Agricultural Units

Looking to convert bushels to metric tons? Gallons to liters? Square feet to square meters? The U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) offers a phone application that quickly and conveniently converts grain data between English and metric units.

The app converts units for U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products, including distiller's dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol. A recent update to the app's display has made calculating large sums on the go easier thanks to commas and decimals that are automatically added to relevant quantities.

Attendees of the Council's flagship buyers and sellers conference, Export Exchange, held next week in Seattle, Wash., are encouraged to download the app as a resource during meetings at the event.

To download, just search "USGBC Grains Calculator" on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The app is accessible in English, Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, French and Korean.
