Willkie advised Tayeh Capital Group ("TCG") on its majority investment in Council Advisors, a C-suite advisory firm serving CEOs, executives, boards, and investment firms.
On July 23, TCG announced that it is investing in and partnering with Council Advisors to grow its team of consultants and accelerate its go-to-market initiatives. The transaction, which has closed, is TCG's inaugural investment and makes TCG the first institutional investor in Council Advisors.
Willkie previously advised TCG in connection with its launch in 2025.
Founded in 2025 by Dave Tayeh and Jay Alix with the backing of GCM Grosvenor, TCG is a relationship-based, growth-focused private equity firm dedicated to building enduring value in middle-market professional and industrial services companies.
The Willkie team was led by partners Brian Hamilton, Jordan Messinger and Tyler Born and included partners Russell Pinilis and Terence Rozier-Byrd, counsel Adam Cohen, and associates Darius Crolle, Nicholas DeLollo and Patrais Strzelecki.
