City of Lancaster to Host National Night Out on The BLVD

Lancaster, CA. July 21, 2026 - The City of Lancaster and the Lancaster Police Department invite residents and families to celebrate National Night Out on Thursday, August 6. The special community-wide celebration will take place on The BLVD from 4 to 8 p.m.

National Night Out is a dedicated nationwide campaign to elevate local law enforcement visibility, strengthen public safety partnerships, and foster neighborhood fellowship. This year's event is hosted directly alongside Lancaster's weekly Farmers Market, allowing families to enjoy local vendors while interacting with the officers who serve their neighborhoods.

"Safe, thriving neighborhoods are built on real connections," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "National Night Out gives our community a chance to come together, enjoy an evening on The BLVD, and connect with local officers."

This year's celebration has plenty of excitement lined up for the whole family, including:

  • Bike Giveaway: Attendees will have the chance to win brand-new bicycles.
  • Raffle Prizes: There will be many opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.
  • Family-Friendly Activities: Interactive entertainment and games will be open to all ages.

Great neighborhoods are built together through transparency and collaboration. The Lancaster Police Department looks forward to enjoying a vibrant summer evening alongside the residents they protect.

The City of Lancaster extends a warm invitation to all community members to come out, participate, and celebrate this special evening. Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and bring your family to join us in building a safer and stronger community together.
