On May 5, Dr. Holly A. Bamford, Chief Conservation Officer at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), will join NMMA President and CEO Frank Hugelmeyer for a fireside chat at the
American Boating Congress (ABC).
Dr. Bamford leads NFWF's conservation strategy and oversees its science- and metrics-driven approach to environmental grantmaking. In this role, she helps direct over $500 million in annual investments in habitat restoration, water quality improvement, coastal resilience, and wildlife conservation projects across the country.
Prior to joining NFWF, Dr. Bamford served in senior leadership positions at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), including Acting Assistant Secretary for Conservation and Management and Assistant Administrator for the National Ocean Service. In these roles, she oversaw programs focused on coastal resilience, marine sanctuaries, and navigation services.
ABC is the recreational boating industry's premier advocacy event, bringing together manufacturers, dealers, and industry leaders with policymakers to discuss the key issues shaping the future of boating.
