DGA Statement on the Final Day of Candidate Qualifying in Georgia

Today, DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on the final day of candidate qualifying in Georgia:

"Georgia is one of Democrats' best opportunities to flip a governor's mansion this cycle and the Republican candidates are only making our job easier for us. From opposing Medicaid expansion to backing DC Republicans' cost-raising agenda, the GOP candidates are going out of their way to prove how out of touch they are with Georgians. We look forward to continuing to watch Rick Jackson and Burt Jones burn through tens of millions of dollars to prove how MAGA they are - and electing a Democratic governor this fall."
