Cincinnati (October 27, 2026) - The Christ Hospital Health Network is partnering with Crayons and Beyond to help local students in Cincinnati.
On Thursday October 29, at 11:00 a.m. at William H. Taft Elementary School located on 270 Southern Avenue in Mt. Auburn, team members of The Christ Hospital Health Network donated supplies collected for more than a month by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Christine Chadwell, MSN, APRN, NP-C, FHM, Director for Advanced Practice at The Christ Hospital Health Network has led the initiative to collect items that will go to the recently opened Hubbard's Cupboard at Taft Elementary.
In total, 20 boxes were donated at Taft Elementary with markers, bandages, lotion, lip balm, tissues boxes and additional school supplies.
The Christ Hospital is proud to be the sponsor of the Hubbard's Cupboard at William H. Taft Elementary School. The Hubbard's Cupboard program, a partnership between Crayons and Beyond and the Sam Hubbard Foundation, is an on-site, on-demand resource for students and teachers, providing immediate access to school supplies, hygiene products and healthy snacks. The Christ Hospital and APPs are investing in the health, well-being, and future success of local children and families.
This year's APP Week Community Impact Project continues a tradition through support of Crayons and Beyond and its Hubbard's Cupboard program by helping provide essential school supplies and basic necessities. These collective efforts exemplify the compassion, leadership and community that define the APP profession and reflect our commitment to making a meaningful difference both inside and outside our healthcare facilities.
