Noelle Rose Dolloff with parents Kristen and Scot DolloffNorth Conway, NH - Noelle Rose Dolloff has her first great accomplishment: being the first baby born at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in 2026.
The newborn weighed eight pounds, one ounce and measured 21 and a half inches long at birth at the MaineHealth Memorial Hospital Family Birth Center on January 3. She was born to Kristen and Scot Dolloff of Porter, Maine. Both baby and mother are doing well. Noelle also has an older brother, Bruce, age two.
"This first birth of the year is always a special moment for our Family Birth Center team," said Leigh Copsey BSN RNC-OB CLC, Clinical Nurse Manager at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital. "It's a wonderful way to begin a new year, and we are honored to support families during such meaningful milestones."
MaineHealth Memorial Hospital continued its tradition of celebrating the first baby of the New Year with a generous basket of gifts for the family. Highlights included a receiving quilt from Gail's Material Girls Quilters Group, gift baskets from MaineHealth Memorial Hospital volunteers and care team members, and Storyland passes. White Mountain Puzzles sent a Noah's Ark puzzle; White Birch Books gifted a book and a $25 gift certificate.
Local businesses contributed dining gift certificates, including $50 certificates to Big Dave's Bagels, Elvio's Pizzeria, Hobb's Tavern and Brewery, Vito Marcellos, the Yankee Smokehouse, Sea Dog Brewing (which also gifted a onesie), and several gift cards for Valley Original restaurants.
This annual tradition underscores the community's generosity and celebrates the arrival of its newest member.
MaineHealth Memorial Hospital welcomes more than 200 babies each year through its Family Birth Center.
