Popular Elevate Growth Programme Extended Until June 2027 Following Outstanding Success

Since launching in 2020, the Elevate Growth Programme has supported 243 Worcestershire businesses, with a further 40 businesses currently taking part in the latest cohort. Together, participating businesses have created 71 new jobs, demonstrating the programme's significant contribution to the county's economy.

Designed by Worcestershire County Council and delivered on its behalf by Rockfine Group, the programme provides established small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with an exclusive package of expert consultancy, peer-to-peer learning and practical strategic support. Participants work alongside experienced business advisers to develop a tailored growth strategy, strengthen leadership and build the foundations for long-term success.

Councillor Adam Kent, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Finance, Corporate Services and Business at Worcestershire County Council, said:

"Businesses across Worcestershire continue to face significant challenges. Rising costs, economic uncertainty and pressure on margins mean many business owners are having to work harder than ever just to stand still. That's exactly why programmes like Elevate are so important.

The results speak for themselves. Hundreds of local businesses have already used the programme to strengthen their leadership, build resilience, create new jobs and develop clear strategies for sustainable growth. This isn't just about helping businesses grow in the good times - it's about giving them the tools, confidence and expert support to navigate difficult times and come out stronger.

Worcestershire has an incredibly diverse and entrepreneurial business community, and we are determined to back that ambition. Extending the programme until June 2027 means even more businesses can access high-quality, practical support that would often be beyond the reach of smaller firms. If you're looking to take your business to the next level or simply build a stronger, more resilient future, I would encourage you to apply."

The programme brings together cohorts of like-minded business owners who share experiences, challenges and solutions in a collaborative environment. Alongside peer learning, participants receive bespoke one-to-one consultancy that explores every aspect of their business, from vision and leadership to commercial strategy and future opportunities.

The outcome is a tailored growth roadmap that gives businesses the confidence, direction and practical actions needed to achieve their ambitions.

The Elevate Growth Programme is open to established SMEs across Worcestershire that are ready to take the next step in their growth journey. With funding now extended until June 2027, businesses are encouraged to register their interest as places are expected to fill quickly.

Businesses interested in joining a future cohort can find out more and register their interest on the Elevate Worcestershire webpages.
