There's race day, and then there's a NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
This weekend, New England's only NASCAR Cup Series weekend returns to "The Magic Mile," bringing three days of racing, entertainment and family experiences to Loudon, New Hampshire, culminating with Sunday's Dollar Tree 301.
And with the NASCAR Cup Series regular season winding down, the stakes on the track are as high as the energy surrounding it.
High Stakes at "The Magic Mile"
The Dollar Tree 301 arrives at a pivotal point in the NASCAR Cup Series season as the penultimate race of the regular season. For drivers fighting for playoff position, every lap around New Hampshire Motor Speedway's 1.058-mile oval matters.
Before Sunday's main event, Saturday brings a full day of action with NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying, the Team EJP 175 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series regular-season finale and the Mohegan Sun 100 for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
It's a lineup built for race fans, but the experience at New Hampshire Motor Speedway extends well beyond the grandstands.
The Party Starts Before the Green Flag
Throughout the weekend, the Fan Zone becomes a destination of its own.
The Groove Fan Hangout gives fans a place to gather with friends and family for DJs, live entertainment, food and drinks throughout the weekend. Saturday night keeps the party going with "The Magic Mile" Happy Hour Show and The Flying Ivories Dueling Pianos.
Elsewhere on property, fans can catch live music, entertainment and driver appearances before Sunday morning's Trackside Live brings NASCAR personalities and Cup Series stars to the Cracker Barrel Stage ahead of the Dollar Tree 301.
For campers, the experience stretches across the entire week with entertainment designed to make New Hampshire Motor Speedway feel like home long before engines fire.
Built for the Next Generation of Race Fans
Families have plenty to explore throughout the weekend, too.
The NASCAR Kids Zone in the Fan Zone features hands-on experiences including LEGO Build & Race, hobby-grade RC cars, slot car racing, a Victory Lane photo opportunity and the Toyota Coloring Book Car, where kids can help put their own creative touch on an actual running stock car.
For older kids and gamers, the NASCAR Gaming Garage provides another place to compete and experience NASCAR away from the racing surface.
It's all part of creating a weekend where the memories extend far beyond the checkered flag.
A New England NASCAR Tradition
For race fans across the Northeast, New Hampshire Motor Speedway represents something special.
"The Magic Mile" is New England's home for NASCAR Cup Series racing, bringing the sport's biggest stars and thousands of fans together for a weekend that has become a summer tradition.
From the intensity of Modified racing and the Truck Series regular-season finale to live entertainment, camping, family activities and one of the most consequential Cup races remaining before the playoffs, there's something happening around nearly every corner of the property.
The weekend culminates Sunday, Aug. 23, when the NASCAR Cup Series takes the green flag in the Dollar Tree 301 at 2 p.m. ET.
Three days of racing. A weekend full of entertainment. One unforgettable New England tradition.
Experience it at "The Magic Mile."
