Telephone conversation with President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan

During his telephone conversation with the President of Turkiye, Vladimir Putin shared his assessment of the summit meeting between Russia and the United States in Anchorage.

The two leaders also discussed the latest developments in and around Ukraine, with Vladimir Putin expressing Russia's appreciation of Turkiye's efforts to facilitate talks between Russian and Ukrainian representatives in Istanbul.

The conversation also covered several topical matters on the bilateral agenda, including the further expansion of trade and investment ties.

The President of Russia and his Turkish counterpart agreed to maintain personal contacts.
