FedEx announces the opening of a new station in Caguas, expanding its operations network in Puerto Rico and bringing faster and more convenient service to customers across the eastern region of the island with 20 dedicated routes and extended pick up times.

Located in the Angora Industrial Park, the new station supports both freight and parcel services and is positioned to serve numerous municipalities in eastern Puerto Rico, including Cayey, Cidra, Caguas, Gurabo, Juncos, Las Piedras, Humacao, Yabucoa, Maunabo, Naguabo, Ceiba, and Vieques.

"The opening of our station in Caguas represents an important milestone in optimizing our operational capabilities in Puerto Rico," said Basil Khalil, vice president of operations for FedEx in the Caribbean and Central America. "By bringing our operations closer to our customers, we are strengthening our ability to support key industries, improve efficiency, and deliver a better overall experience for businesses and residents across the region."

Previously, service to the eastern region of the island was supported by the FedEx station in Carolina. The addition of the Caguas facility allows FedEx to rebalance capacity and strengthen its network flexibility. The new location features modern infrastructure, including a FedEx Ship Center, updated office space, and an efficient working environment for its 30 team members.

The opening underscores the long-term commitment of FedEx to Puerto Rico, reinforcing support for local businesses and vital industries such as manufacturing and healthcare, while enhancing the island's connectivity to global markets.
