Indiana Program Application Cutoff Dates

Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP)

Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) applications must be received by November 21 to be considered during the first funding period.

Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)

Farm bill program deadlines have been set for Indiana's agricultural producers who want to improve natural resources and address concerns on their land. December 5 will be the first round of funding application date for EQIP and CSP in Indiana.

Great Lake Restoration Initiative (GLRI) and Western Lake Erie Basin Initiative (WLEB)

Landowners in portions of Steuben, DeKalb, Noble, Allen, Adams and Wells counties are eligible for funding through the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) and Western Lake Erie Basin Initiative (WLEB). First round applications must be submitted by December 5.

Mississippi River Basin Healthy Watershed Initiative (MRBI)

The following watersheds have been approved for MRBI funding. First round applications must be submitted by December 5:

  • Buckhorn Creek (Spencer and Warrick counties)
  • Sugar Creek (Hancock, Johnson, Marion and Shelby counties)
  • Lower Salt Creek (Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe counties)

National Water Quality Initiative (NWQI)

The following watersheds have been approved for NWQI funding. First round applications must be submitted by December 5:

  • Cicero Creek (Clinton, Boone, Hamilton and Tipton counties)
  • Lake Wawasee (Noble and Kosciusko counties)
  • Muncie Creek White River (Delaware, Randolph and Henry counties)
  • Upper Blue Sinking Watershed (Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington counties).

Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)

  • Kankakee Watershed RCPP: Funds are available to help landowners protect and restore key farmlands, grasslands and wetlands in the Kankakee watershed through land management practices or by easements. Applications for easements must be received by November 21 for the first funding round. Applications for land management practices must be received by December 5 to be eligible for the first round of funding.
  • Western Lake Erie Basin (WLEB) RCPP: Funding is now available to help Western Lake Erie Basin producers implement practices designed to keep nutrients on fields and improve their watershed. December 5 is the application cutoff date for the first round of funding.
  • Grasslands for Gamebirds and Songbirds RCPP: Applications are being accepted to improve wildlife and pollinator habitat throughout the state. Interested producers should submit applications to their local NRCS office by December 5 to be considered for the first funding period.
