Now Open! FFY 2027 CLG Grant Application

WA State DAHP sent this bulletin at 04/06/2026 09:56 AM PDT

Good morning,

Apologies for the delay. The FFY2027 Certified Local Government Grants are now open!

You can find the application and grant manual here at the bottom of he page under the Grant Documents: https://dahp.wa.gov/local-preservation/certified-local-government-program/clg-grants

We have been busy behind the scenes to ensure information in our Application and Grant Manual are up to date Please note that for awarded projects over the federal micro purchase threshold of $15,000, grant recipients must follow federal procurement standards in 2 CFR Part 200 Subpart D - Procurement Standards which can be found here:https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-2/subtitle-A/chapter-II/part-200/subpart-D/subject-group-ECFR45ddd4419ad436d/section-200.320

Due to delays in receiving federal funding, DAHP will not begin the contracting process with CLG Grant awardees until the funds are physically in our possession. Please know that this can and will likely take quite a bit longer than in past grant cycles. We plan to hold our usual grant project application presentations to the committee in late summer or early fall and announce the awarded projects soon after. However, as said, the contracting process will not begin until federal funds are secured. Please take this into account in your project planning. It could be a while, but i will alert you as soon a we have the funds and contracting will then begin ASAP!

Please reach out to me with any questions. It is not required, but is strongly encouraged that you reach out to me with your grant project ideas prior to submittal. I am here to offer any assistance I can. Looking forward to you applications!!!
