BACKGROUND:

• Senator Moody discussed the savings secured for Floridians through the Working Families Tax Cut package passed last year. According to recent reports, Florida claimed the top spot for the largest federal tax refunds in the U.S.-bringing home an average refund of around $4,500.
• Senator Moody also highlighted President Trump's historic efforts to secure the border, in contrast to the chaos and dangerous policies enacted under the Biden administration, and President Trump's quick action to name drug cartels terrorist organizations.
