Retailers promote new scholarship opportunity for high school seniors

The Illinois Retail Merchants Association recently launched a new scholarship opportunity. The Illinois Retail Scholarship Challenge encourages high school seniors to develop creative and practical solutions to real business challenges facing the retail sector. Teams of students can compete for scholarships of up to $60,000.
The scholarship is supported by grant funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to engage students and strengthen the retail industry.
The scholarship challenge is open to all Illinois high school seniors and the deadline to apply is March 30, 2026. All details can be found at irma.org
