Libraries Offering Free Backpacks and School Supplies Through Aug. 7

As students and families prepare for the new school year, Clearwater Public Library is helping make back-to-school shopping a little easier.
Through Aug. 7, families can visit any Clearwater Public Library location during regular open hours to pick up a free backpack and school supplies while supplies last.
The giveaway is made possible through a generous donation from the Clearwater Library Foundation, helping provide students with essential school items as they get ready to head back to the classroom.
To help serve as many families as possible, backpacks are limited to one per child when the child is present. If children are not present, families may receive up to two backpacks per family.
Supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis and quantities are limited.
Families are encouraged to visit their neighborhood Clearwater Public Library soon to take advantage of the giveaway before supplies run out.
