The Company prepares for all sorts of natural disasters year-round with emergency action plans, response drills and coordination with local officials. Restoration materials are pre-positioned, and teams are ready to assess damage and restore service quickly once it's safe.
During storms, customers receive proactive updates about service disruptions and community WiFi availability. Real-time news and emergency alerts are accessible through Spectrum News channels, apps and the Spectrum Storm Center.
After the storm, Spectrum works alongside local authorities and utility companies to restore service. The Company supports recovery with donations, volunteer events and continuous updates via media, digital channels and direct outreach.
