Bismarck, N.D. - North Dakota Farm Bureau (NDFB) will hold its 84th Annual Meeting Nov. 20-21, 2026, at the Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center. The two-day event brings members from across the state together to set the organization's policy for the coming year, elect leadership and connect with others who share an interest in North Dakota agriculture.
Voting delegates will consider resolutions that originated with members at the county level and advanced through District Resolution Meetings. Policy adopted at the Annual Meeting guides NDFB's advocacy work in Bismarck and Washington, D.C. Resolutions with national implications move forward for consideration at the American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention, Jan. 8-13, 2027, in Charlotte, N.C.
"Every resolution on the floor started with a member at a county meeting," said NDFB President Val Wagner. "That is what makes Farm Bureau work. Our policy is not handed down. It is built by members who take the time to show up, speak up, and share what matters to them and their communities. The more members get involved, the stronger our voice is in Bismarck and Washington. We encourage members to register early and take part in shaping the year ahead."
The meeting opens Friday, Nov. 20, with registration beginning at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Opening General Session and Pre-Delegate Session at 2 p.m. Friday's schedule also includes the Collegiate Discussion Meet Final, an evening social and the Scholarship Live Auction.
The Delegate Session continues Saturday, Nov. 21, as members debate and adopt policy. Members will also elect leaders to the NDFB State Board of Directors and several committees during district caucuses over lunch.
The weekend wraps up Saturday evening with the Annual Banquet, followed by a program and entertainment featuring country artist Dallas Pryor & The Lazy Wayne Band. Pryor, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with Kansas roots, is known for honest, big-hearted songwriting that draws on his service and small-town upbringing.
