MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has selected fifteen members for the next Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. Members will attend monthly virtual sessions from September 2026 to May 2027 during their senior year of high school.
Members include:
"Congratulations to the members of the seventh Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council," said DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski. "I am proud of the previous, current, and upcoming council members, and I look forward to meeting with this council in the year ahead."
During council sessions, members will listen to presentations and engage in discussions about a variety of agricultural topics. At the conclusion of their term, Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council members will receive a certificate for their service.
The goals of the Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council are to highlight agricultural-related career opportunities, share tools available to support farmers, provide insight into agriculture policy development, and increase networking opportunities for participants. Council members were selected through a competitive review process.
