Governor Kotek Submits List of Appointments for Senate Confirmation

Today, Governor Tina Kotek submitted a list of state board and commission appointments to the Oregon Senate for confirmation. The Senate Committee on Rules is scheduled to consider the nominations during the 2026 legislative session.

Governor Kotek announced the appointment of Kacey KC as State Forester on January 22. Ken Sanchagrin was announced as Executive Director to the Oregon Public Defense Commission (OPDC) on January 23.

Note to Editors: The Eastern Oregon University (EOU) Board of Trustees can appoint individuals who have residential addresses in the states of Idaho or Washington. Ada County, referenced a couple of times in the spreadsheet, is in Idaho. Benton County also references a county in Washington.
