UAA's Anderson and Westin score at St. Cloud

St. Cloud, Minnesota. - Ben Anderson and Aiden Westin each scored for UAA in a 5-2 loss at St. Cloud State Friday.

The Huskies scored twice on the powerplay, including during a 5-on-3 advantage, to take a 4-0 lead by 13:30 of the second period.

Logan Acheson fired a long shot that was redirected by Ben Anderson for his first goal of the season at 17:38 of the second period. Karter McNarland recorded an assist on the goal.

St. Cloud scored their fifth goal of the game with four seconds remaining in the second period.

Aiden Westin got behind the St. Cloud defense and beat the goalie stick side for his first goal of the season at 7:22 of the third period. The goal was the first on the powerplay this season for the Seawolves. Dimitry Kebreau and Conor Cole assisted on the goal for their first points of the young season.

UAA finished 1-for-2 on the powerplay, while SCSU was 2-for-4.

The Huskies finished with a 36-21 lead in shots.

Tyler Krivtsov made 31 saves in goal for the Seawolves.

The Seawolves and Huskies will close out the weekend series Saturday.
