NORTH JERSEY - This weekend, U.S. Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) joined North Jersey families at Mahwah's 30th Annual Town Day.
Gottheimer met with police officers, parents, and veterans, and thanked Mahwah's first responders for their service in keeping the community safe. Gottheimer stopped by the Mahwah Environmental Commission table to meet with constituents and presented a Congressional Certificate to the Mahwah Recreation Department.
Gottheimer was joined by Mahwah Mayor Jim Wysocki and Mahwah Councilman David May.
"I had a great weekend with families, veterans, first responders, and neighbors at Mahwah's 30th Annual Town Day. Town Days are some of my absolute favorite Jersey traditions, bringing us together as a community and supporting our local businesses and organizations," said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). "I am so grateful to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this event possible, and to the first responders who keep us safe every day. It's events like these that show the strength, spirit, and community that make North Jersey so special."
