METROPOLIS, IL - State Representative Patrick Windhorst is marking a somber 9/11 anniversary by honoring victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack that killed Americans in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

"Patriot Day is a solemn occasion to remember the lives lost in the terror attack on September 11, 2001," Windhorst said. "Today is a day to honor the courage of first responders and the resilience of communities across the nation. We must never forget!"
