Overnight Closure - 26th Street and Marion Road Intersection

Beginning on Thursday, September 24, 2026, the intersection of West 26th Street and Marion Road will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to allow construction crews to complete concrete repairs in the center of the intersection ahead of an asphalt overlay on Marion Road.

This intersection is anticipated to be reopen on by 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning, September 25, 2026. Motorists should utilize alternate routes during the closure.

The overall project is anticipated to be completed in late October 2026.

Lane and Sidewalk Closure - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, the northbound outside lane of South Minnesota Avenue between 33rd Street and 31st Street will be closed. The east sidewalk will be closed; pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east along Dakota Avenue.

Journey Construction will be doing building renovations.

This work is anticipated to be completed by 3:30 p.m. on the same day.

Lane Closure - Tenth Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, the outside eastbound lane of East Tenth Street will be closed between St. Paul Avenue and Omaha Avenue.

Black-Top Paving will be making repairs to a parking lot.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on September 22, 2026.

Lane Closure - Veterans Parkway

Beginning on Monday, September 21, 2026, the outside northbound lane of South Veterans Parkway will be closed between Western Avenue and Minnesota Avenue to allow trucks to safely enter the roadway for a pond grading project happening on the south side of the street. There will be two lanes of northbound traffic always maintained.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed by the end of November.

Street Closure - 271st Street (Highway 106)

Beginning on Thursday, September 24, 2026, 271st Street (Lincoln County Highway 106) will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Cliff Avenue from 8:00 p.m.to 6:00 a.m. to allow crews to perform excavation work and install traffic control.

Westbound and eastbound traffic on 271st Street should utilize 85th Street or Veterans Parkway as alternate routes. Northbound and southbound traffic will remain open on Cliff Avenue and Minnesota Avenue.

This work is anticipated to be completed and open to traffic by 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning, September 25, 2026.
