County Executive Adam Bello Announces Drainage Improvements At Durand Eastman Golf Course

Fall greens fee discounts will start early as construction begins

County Executive Adam Bello today announced the start of construction at Durand Eastman Golf Course to improve drainage on the course. Fall golf rates at Durand will coincide with the start of construction on Monday September 22nd.

"Updating our drainage system will improve future playing conditions, prevent water buildup, and make the course more resilient in the rainy season," said County Executive Bello. "The project is anticipated to cause some disruptions in play, and we ask for your patience and cooperation as we make these long-term improvements to the course."

Multiple holes will be affected by construction, and golfers will see changes to yardages and pars. Golfers should be advised that on some holes, heavy machinery will be in operation.

Below is the list of reduced rates at Durand Eastman Golf Course; information on fall rates at the other Monroe County Golf Courses is forthcoming.

Durand Eastman

• 9 holes walking = $10
• 9 holes riding= $17
• 18 holes walking= $13
• 8 holes riding= $27
