Emma Wallace has been hired by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation as the district coordinator in southwestern Wisconsin.
Wallace will be responsible for working with county Farm Bureaus to develop and implement programs to serve Farm Bureau members and to coordinate membership recruitment and retention efforts.
Wallace will serve Farm Bureau's District 3, which includes the counties of Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Vernon. She will begin her duties on April 27.
"Emma's agricultural background and Farm Bureau involvement make her well-suited to work with our county Farm Bureaus in southwest Wisconsin," said WFBF's Executive Director of Member Relations Bob Leege. "We look forward to what she will do as the District 3 Coordinator."
Wallace grew up on her family's dairy farm near Belmont in Lafayette County and continues to play an active role in daily operations alongside her dad, husband and daughter. She remains hands-on with employee management, herd record keeping and breeding program decisions.
She attended UW-Platteville where she received bachelor's degrees in dairy science and agricultural business. During college, she was active in UW-Platteville Collegiate Farm Bureau, Pioneer Dairy Club and Ceres Women's Agricultural Fraternity. Wallace was named Wisconsin's Collegiate Farm Bureau Discussion Meet winner in 2022.
Wallace previously worked for Reddy Feed & Grain LLC as Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
