Fernwood Drive Lane Closures Begin August 31

Beginning on Monday, August 31, and continuing through October 26, Fernwood Drive, from North Elam Avenue to Battleground Avenue, will experience occasional lane closures and delays daily from 7 am to 4 pm due to water line rehabilitation work.

See the map for the specific location. Signs and traffic cones will be in place, and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid the area. Dates and times may change due to weather or last-minute changes in the work schedule.

The work is part of the City's ongoing Water Rehabilitation Program, which is funded by water and sewer utility payments. For more information about this work project, contact City contractor Mainlining America at 336-825-0637.
