Palos Verdes Drive North and Dapplegray School Intersection Improvement Project Update

5-22-2026 Project Update:

The City Council awarded the construction contract for the Palos Verdes Drive North and Dapplegray School Entrance Improvement Project on May 12, 2026. Construction is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2026. Contractor mobilization activities may occur slightly earlier, provided they do not impact vehicle traffic or pedestrian access.

This project will enhance the intersection at Palos Verdes Drive North and the Dapplegray School entrance. Improvements will include grading and drainage work, installation of new concrete curbs and gutters, asphalt pavement upgrades, retaining walls, traffic signal enhancements, updated signing and striping, fencing, landscaping and irrigation, as well as other related infrastructure improvements.
