In honor of Patriot Day, September 11, all flags have been lowered to half-staff in memory of the 2,977 people in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, who were killed during a horrific series of terrorist attacks in 2001. Emergency workers, brave citizens, and clean-up crews are among 9/11 responders still suffering significant health issues 24 years after the terrorist attacks. The City of Dublin remembers the 9/11 victims and pays tribute to the many first responders who came out in force that day.
