The 2026 FC Pro World Championship delivered an unforgettable finale as Romania's RVPLegend defeated LevyFinn in a thrilling championship match to become the first Romanian player ever to win the FC Pro World Championship, taking home the $250,000 USD top prize.

An underdog story for the history books

RVPLegend's path to the title was anything but straightforward.

Both finalists earned their place in the Championship through FC Pro's Play-Ins system, highlighting the openness and competitiveness of the FC Pro ecosystem. Remarkably, RVPLegend and LevyFinn actually faced each other in their very first Play-Ins match before battling once again on the biggest stage of the season.

For RVPLegend, the journey nearly ended before it truly began. He advanced from his Play-Ins group only on goal difference, surviving by the slimmest of margins before putting together an incredible run through the knockout rounds to become world champion.

A final worthy of the biggest stage

The championship match showcased the attacking, high-scoring style that has defined this FC Pro season.

RVPLegend stormed into an early lead and controlled much of the contest, but LevyFinn mounted a dramatic late comeback, scoring twice to narrow the score to 6-5 and set up a tense finish. Despite the late pressure, RVPLegend held his nerve through the final whistle to complete one of the most memorable championship victories in FC Pro history.

A tournament full of surprises

The 2026 FC Pro World Championship featured no shortage of dramatic moments, with several established stars, including Nicolas99FC and Anders Vejrgang, exiting earlier than many expected, underlining the depth of talent across this year's field.

Meanwhile, Matias Bonanno impressed throughout the tournament, securing a well-earned third-place finish after another strong campaign.
