Administrative Professionals Week

By virtue of the authority vested by the Constitution of Virginia in the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, there is hereby officially recognized:

Administrative Professionals Week

WHEREAS, administrative professionals sustain the effective operation of public and private institutions across the Commonwealth through leadership, organization, and coordination; and

WHEREAS, these professionals support operational excellence, data governance, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration across fast-paced and regulated environments; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals uphold confidentiality, enable strategic decision-making, and protect leaders' time; and

WHEREAS, professional associations-including the American Society of Administrative Professionals-promote development, workplace culture, and inclusive leadership; and

WHEREAS, administrative professionals utilize advanced systems and governance frameworks to strengthen operational resilience; and

WHEREAS, the Commonwealth's economic vitality is enhanced when administrative professionals are recognized, supported, and integrated into leadership pathways;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Abigail D. Spanberger, do hereby recognize April 19-26, 2026, as ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS WEEK in the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, and I call this observance to the attention of all our citizens.
