Employees Encouraged to Receive W-2 Tax Forms Electronically

To help bolster The University of Toledo's "Go Green" initiative, employees can receive their 2025 W-2 tax form online in the Employee Tab in the myUT portal.

Electronic delivery also is the fastest and most secure method to receive tax documents. W-2s will be available online beginning Friday, Jan. 23; however, electronic consent must be provided by 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, for those who want to receive their W-2 online.

Employees who choose to receive their W-2 electronically can log in to the myUT portal and, using the Employee Self-Service Dashboard, select Taxes and then choose Electronic Regulatory Consent.

Once an employee provides consent, their W-2 will only be available online for viewing and printing. W-2s will not be mailed to their home. Employees who provided electronic consent in a previous year do not need to do so again.

Employees who do not provide consent on or before Jan. 16 will be mailed a paper copy of their W-2 form by Friday, Jan. 30, to their mailing address. W-2 forms also will be available online starting Friday, Feb. 27, so you may reprint a form if needed.
